Château Gloria wine
Château Gloria boasts a property divided over three zones: in the heart of Beychevelle and in the eastern and northern parts of the Saint-Julien appellation.

The vineyards of Château Gloria are among the best in the appellation, with Gunz gravel on a subsoil of clay-sand gravel. The vines are a traditional mix of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. In fact, this estate was one of the first to put its faith in Petit Verdot, an excellent variety that was probably cultivated in the Médoc long before Cabernet Sauvignon and which brings richer aromas and tannins to a blend, as well as deeper color and higher alcohol levels.

The vines here, which are impeccably cared for, range from 30 to 80 years of age, with an average around 45 years. With 10,000 vines per hectare, they give an average yield of 45 hectoliters per hectare.

These many excellent qualities result in an outstanding example of Saint-Julien.
