« A smokin' effort that readers should check out is the 2015 Tavel Rosé from Chateau d'Aqueria. Made from a mix of Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Syrah, Bourboulenc and Picpoul, it has an elegant, medium-bodied, textured style on the palate to go with ripe aromas and flavors of framboise, black cherries, crushed herbs and a touch of minerality. Drink this food friendly beauty over the coming year or so. » (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker)

Vineyard rated (guide 2016) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About the vineyard : Le château d'Aquéria a débuté son existence au XVIe siècle.

Tavel is a southern Rhône appellation which produces rosé wines exclusively. From the heart of the Rhône Valley’s best terroirs and produced by generations of wine growers over the centuries, Tavel was the wine of kings and remains a prestigious wine, a wine for those “who consider dedication and authenticity to be the keys to drinking enjoyment”.
