Bodega Atamisque wine
"Atamisque" is a native tree of the Andes that grows spontaneously near the winery and which has lent its name to this estate in the Uco Valley in Mendoza.

Owned by John and Chantal Du Monceau since 2006, Bodega Atamisque has 70 hectares of vines in production.

Bodega Atamisque mainly produces Malbec, as well as Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and, less commonly found in Argentina, the Cabernet Franc. Enjoying a cooler climate due to the vineyards’ altitude (1,300m) and, thanks to the use of high quality French oak barrels, the wines of Bodega Atamisque are more European in style, favouring the expression of the fruit to its extraction and concentration.
