As usual, Les Griottes expresses the style of its varietal, with here, a good concentration, a vinous character and a good balance between tannins and acidity. On the palate, fruitiness and freshness dominate with a tangy edge of fresh red berries... Simply delicious !

Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France - RVF

Wine rated (guide 2016) : 14/20 (Bon vin)

About the vineyard :

Wine rated (guide 2016) : Médaille d'Or

About this wine : Robe pourpre violine.

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

The regional appellation Beaujolais was established in 1937. It covers about 8,900 hectares (21,992 acres) of vineyards straddling two distinct geographic areas: the southern part of Beaujolais, around the town of Le Bois d'Oingt, and a ribbon of land that stretches along the banks of the Saône from Villefranche north to La Chapelle de Guinchay. Beaujolais may be grown in 72 communes.  ...
