In every vintage, Les Griottes reveals the proper en-primeur style of Beaujolais : fresh aromas of cherry, currant and blueberry burst out of the glass. The palate is friendly yet fleshy and intense, with a good texture and crispiness. A flash of gaiety in November !

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About the vineyard :

Mes excuses.

The regional appellation Beaujolais was established in 1937. It covers about 8,900 hectares (21,992 acres) of vineyards straddling two distinct geographic areas: the southern part of Beaujolais, around the town of Le Bois d'Oingt, and a ribbon of land that stretches along the banks of the Saône from Villefranche north to La Chapelle de Guinchay. Beaujolais may be grown in 72 communes.  ...
