First unchaptalized en-primeur cuvee in 1988, this "Nouveau" comes from old vines of Gamay. It delivers an atypical, vinous expression, close-to-the-grape aromas, with an intense nose of ripe red and dark fruits. A full wine with bright tannins. A high-end cuvee with character that will reconcile the skeptics with en-primeur Beaujolais. Discovery !

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

The regional appellation Beaujolais was established in 1937. It covers about 8,900 hectares (21,992 acres) of vineyards straddling two distinct geographic areas: the southern part of Beaujolais, around the town of Le Bois d'Oingt, and a ribbon of land that stretches along the banks of the Saône from Villefranche north to La Chapelle de Guinchay. Beaujolais may be grown in 72 communes.  ...
