The Bordeaux blanc comes from a blend of Sauvignon (blanc and gris) and Semillon, and reveals a very aromatic profile on the nose, with notes of citrus, white peach and white flowers. Its fruity and floral character is balanced between roundness and tangy freshness. A great value !

About this wine : Le blanc est toujours très parfumé avec des notes de citron confit en fin de bouche. Un bon compagnon de fruits de mer ou d'apéritif.

About the vineyard : Éric Duffau fait partie des vignerons bordelais qui ont su démontrer que de simples bordeaux rouges, à des prix très attractifs, pouvaient atteindre un niveau d’excellence irréprochable. Les argiles sur socle calcaire des beaux terroirs du secteur de Génissac apportent aux cuvées du domaine un équilibre savoureux. Issus de raisins récoltés à parfaite maturité, les vins se révèlent magnifiquement élevés et ils vieillissent avec grâce dans les belles années. Mais les boisés, parfois un peu forts, peuvent cacher la spontanéité du fruit.

About the vineyard : Bordeaux ou bordeaux supérieur, rouge, blanc ou rosé, Éric Duffau vinifie avec brio les AOC régionales. Il a repris en 1979 le domaine familial situé dans l'Entre-deux-Mers, sur la rive gauche de la Dordogne. Son vignoble de 46 ha est situé pour l'essentiel sur des coteaux faisant face à Saint-Émilion.
