New vintage, the 2011 was rated : Bettane & Desseauve 14/20
For the 2012 vintage, Les Allées de Cantemerle continues the path of the smooth and elegant Medoc wines, to drink in their youth. With the freshness of its aromas of coffee and wild flowers, this wine is enjoyed at its best : delicate and generous. An excellent second label !

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated : 14/20 (Millésime 2011) (Bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About the vineyard : Cantemerle, qui a beaucoup agrandi son vignoble, aujourd'hui proche de 90 hectares, bénéficie du vieillissement des vignes et ses derniers millésimes ont gagné en vinosité et en précision aromatique, tout en préservant une finesse et une souplesse très appréciables en vin jeune. Second vin, Allées, de qualité.

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

The Haut-Médoc is the Médoc region closest to Bordeaux. In 1855, the wine merchants and industry professionals created a ranking of the greatest wines from the Médoc thereby establishing a hierarchy of Grands Crus Classés. This updated list is still in force and features 62 prestigious châteaux. Recognised as an AOC by a decree of 14 November 1936, it covers 25 communes. The well- ...
