The second label of Château Chasse-Spleen, l'Oratoire is made from the most difficult plots of the vineyard, the ones needing the most attention and care. It can change depending on the vintages. Like all the second labels, it is a great value and a perfect introduction the Château Chasse-Spleen itself.

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 2**Stars (A reliable production but a little more constant and homogeneous than the previous one)

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

About the vineyard : Ce cru jouit d’une excellente réputation, bien méritée d’ailleurs.

Moulis-en-Médoc is the smallest commune appellation in the Médoc in terms of surface area. Its vineyards cover 600 hectares, which represents 4% of the Médoc wine region. From the east to the west, the Moulis-en-Médoc terroirs consist of a huge massif of Garonne gravel suitable for the cultivation of the Cabernet Sauvignon. This gravel is of the same lithological variety as that of ...
