Château Larrivet- Haut-Brion
, acquired by the Gervoson family in 1987, has reestablished the unity it had at the start of the century: the château with its 13-hectare of grounds, the winery buildings and 42 hectares of vines under production, as well as 18 hectares previously planted with vines, which have gradually been replanted.
Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion’s motivated and skilled team has restored this flagship property of the Pessac-Léognan AOC to its former glory. The Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion vineyards are typical of the middle terrace of Bordeaux “Graves”: extremely gravelly with a very sandy matrix. The Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion team is passionate about the wines it makes and keeps a close eye on its vines, tending them with meticulous care until healthy, perfectly ripe grapes are harvested. Château Larrivet-Haut-Brion is an associate member of the Académie du Vin de Bordeaux, a member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux and a member of the Commanderie du Bontemps de Médoc & des Graves de Sauternes & Barsac.
