Chaque millésime exprime un haut niveau de maturité avec une richesse de matière donnant un vin généreux et richement fruité. Beau style long et dense pour cette valeur sûre.

Vin déjà bien ouvert que l'on peut boire dés aujourd'hui. Merlot assez prononcé, cette bouteille représente un bon rapport qualité / prix.

Contrairement à bon nombre d'autres commentateurs, je n'ai pas été franchement convaincu par ce Pipeau 2011. A mon humble avis, il est assez éloigné d'un Saint Emilion classique et plutôt proche d'un Haut-Médoc. En outre, son prix avoisinant 18€ ne me parait pas justifié.
