« This is really excellent with a wonderful depth of fruit and saltiness. Full and flavorful. Lots going on. Tangy and lively. Don't forget this white from where most know the red. Drink or hold. » (James Suckling 2015)

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated : 15,5/20 (Très bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2016) : 4****Stars (The producers of very high-quality wines, those who are the glory of the French vineyard)

About this wine : Distingué et raffiné, floral, beaucoup de profondeur, facile, séduisant et gourmand.

About the vineyard : As William Fèvre owned the champagne Henriot family, this large house completely regained its brands and its prestige. The great lover will of course give preference wines of the area, located on major climates on both sides, with a choice of truly unique titles, in two colors. Joseph Henriot, who had acquired it in the early nineties and brilliantly revived, left us this year, leaving a masterpiece.

Jancis Robinson

Wine rated (guide 2015) : 15,5/20

About the vineyard : This venerable historic house, founded in 1731 at Beaune, owned the Henriot family since 1995. It has experienced in recent years a succession of leaders at its head. And it is now Christophe Bouchard, who holds the reins with efficiency. Operator 130 ha of vineyards, the maison Bouchard covers almost all of Burgundy appellations. It is difficult with also range to be good in all crus and emphasis for many years a lack of consistency in the range entries, more white in red, while the more prestigious wines remain blameless.

Established in 1936, Beaune and Beaune Premier Cru are village appellations around the town of the same name, in the Côte d'Or. The appellation may be followed on wine labels by the name of the climat (vineyard site) where the wine was grown. There are 42 premier cru climats here, the most noteworthy of which include Clos des Mouches, Clos des Ursules, Clos du Roi, Les Toussaints, and ...
