« The 2014 Chablis 1Er Cru Cote de Lechet has real stoniness and terroir expression on the nose, a little lean but very focused. The palate is well balanced and does not quite deliver the terroir expression of the aromatics, but it is nicely balanced with hints of ginger and citrus lemon on the finish that fans out gently. » (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker)

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated (guide 2018) : 16/20 (Très bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 2**Stars (A reliable production but a little more constant and homogeneous than the previous one)

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Established in 1938, Chablis is a white wine appellation in Burgundy that extends into about twenty villages around the town of Chablis in the Yonne department. The vineyards of Chablis occupy the slopes that border the Serein River Valley, a hilly area where the tops of the slopes are generally wooded. There are four appellation levels here: Chablis Grand Cru, Chablis Premier Cru, ...
