Vineyard rated (guide 2018) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About the vineyard : This estate is moving forward and its wines are more elegant, while retaining the pleasant fruitiness that seduces very early in their life. Terroirs are expressed with more confidence than in the 1990s. And the acceleration of the quality has been spectacular for the last three vintages.

Vineyard rated (guide 2018) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

About the vineyard : Heir of a dozen generations of established winemakers in Marsannay, Jean-Louis Huguenot had produced for a long time, technically impeccable wines that gleaned many medals in competitions. More discreet, his son Philippe is an ambitious young winemaker who has been able to give more personality to the wines, without outweighing their fundamental qualities. The rest of the range proved to be very homogenous, with yet a bit (too) rustic and robust wines.
