Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 2**Stars (A reliable production but a little more constant and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the vineyard : This vast historic property of Fuissé has been operated by the Vincent family for 5 generations, forty hectares spread over 5 appellations in Mâconnais and Beaujolais. Spearhead of the Pouilly Fuissé appellation with 25 hectares, its style is resolutely focused on the aging, while remaining faithful to its methods : very elaborated maturing.

About the vineyard : This historic estate has been in the hands of the Vincent family since 1852. The Castle has a vast vineyard of more than 30 hectares on the major appellation of the Maconnais, as well as a vineyard on Juliénas. The characteristic of this estate is to have lots of old vines. In fact, the old vines cuvée, which is part of the history of the estate, has been identified as such since 1969. There's even a parcel of chardonnay planted in 1929 on the area of Les Clos. It is Antoine Vincent who has been handling the winemaking since 2003.
