Château de la Liquière
belongs to the Vidal Dumoulin family, who have managed this 64-hectare domaine since 1912. It has been home to generations of wine producers, all deeply committed to the family business.
The Château de la Liquière estate is very fragmented. It is made up of vineyards planted in the middle of garrigue scrubland, divided into over 70 plots scattered in the villages of Autignac, Caussiniojouls, Cabrerolles and Faugères, to the north of the appellation area. The vast majority of plots are on schist soil and face due south towards the Mediterranean.
Château de la Liquière has been converting to organic growing since 2008, and 2012 marked the Domaine’s first certified vintage. The vineyard work complies with organic principles, using practices that are friendly to the environment and the vines, with harvesting of the grapes by hand. Vinification work is finely crafted and closely monitored.
The Château de la Liquière range of wine is suitable for all drinking occasions, with the wines perfectly reflecting the purity of the terroir’s expression.
