Rating : Guide Hachette 2** (Remarkable wine) + Coup de Cœur
« Fifth coup de coeur for the estate, the forth for this cuvee made and aged in barrels. The 2015 shows a bright colour and offers an intense nose combining the vanilla oakiness, the finesse of the acacia honey and the freshness of the fruit. The palate is solid, fleshy and very long, supported by a delicate yet racy oak. A good balance between the ripeness of the vintage and the finesse of the aging that will augur a good evolution in the cellar. » (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)

Le Guide Hachette des Vins

Le Guide Hachette des Vins

Wine rated (guide 2017) : 2*Coup de Coeur (Vin remarquable)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 2**Stars (A reliable production but a little more constant and homogeneous than the previous one)

The minuscule appellation of Palette is very near the city of Aix-en-Provence. Just a handful of producers work the 23 hectares (57 acres) of vineyards that are planted to about 25 different grape varieties and give exceptional wines. The appellation is primarily contained within the villages of Meyreuil and Tholonet but extends into a small part of the commune of Aix-en-Provence. ...
