New vintage, the 2012 was rated : Robert Parker 90/100, Guide Hachette 2**(Remarkable wine), Bettane & Desseauve 14/20
Even in a late and difficult vintage, the Cairanne 2013 is a well-balanced wine, showing an elegant fruit. With notes of dark fruits, garrigue and liquorice, it exhibits the Provencal style of this fleshy cuvee. The tannins are fine, bringing length and character to this red wine.

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated : 14/20 (Bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

The Cairanne AOC vineyards are located in the département of Vaucluse, at the foot of the village of Cairanne. They have extended towards Le Plan de Dieu and the Aigues plain since the 15th century. The vineyards flourished in the Middle Ages under the influence of the Templars and then the “Hospitallers” of Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem. Cairanne was named Cotes du Rhone Cairanne ...
