Ratings : Robert Parker 89-91/100, Guide Hachette 1*(Very Well-Made wines)
« The most forward, charming and medium-bodied in the lineup, the 2013 Côte Rôtie La Sarrasine (97% Syrah, 3% Viognier) will see 24 months in 60% new and once used demi-muids. It shows the tinge of oak that’s always present in these wines to go with plenty of sweet cassis, blackberries and licorice. It’s a touch chunky at the moment, but I like its fruit and texture. It should drink nicely on release and have 10-15 years of longevity. » (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

Le Guide Hachette des Vins

Le Guide Hachette des Vins

Wine rated (guide 2017) : 1*Étoile (Vin très réussi)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

The vineyards of Côte-Rôtie are among the oldest in France. Developed considerably by the Romans, Côte-Rôtie earned AOC status in 1940. Today the appellation comprises a little over 100 producers and about 60 properties with estate bottling. Côte-Rôtie stretches along the bank of the Rhône River, across three villages: Saint-Cyr-sur-Rhône, Ampuis, and Tupin-Semons, all in the Rh ...
