« Rich, velvety and ripe, the 2015 Cote Rotie la Sarrasine offers up minty-herbal-peppery nuances and bushels of cherry fruit. Ultimately, it's a bit simple relative to its single-vineyard siblings, but it still delivers a mouthful of satisfying flavor and texture in a medium to full-bodied format. It should drink well for a decade or more. » (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker)

Wine rated (guide 2018) : 16,5/20 (Vin de référence)
Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About this wine : Arômes profonds de fruits noirs et de tabac, note de jus de viande aussi, savoureux et séveux, tannins fins, de la profondeur et de la densité.

About the vineyard : Ce domaine a été acquis en 2006 par la famille Guigal mais a conservé une direction autonome.

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

Today the appellation comprises a little over 100 producers and about 60 properties with estate bottling. Côte-Rôtie stretches along the bank of the Rhône River, across three villages: Saint-Cyr-sur-Rhône, Ampuis, and Tupin-Semons, all in the Rh ...
