About the vineyard : Maison fondée en 1835, propriété depuis 1977 du Champagne Deutz (groupe Roederer). Sous la direction de Fabrice Rosset et de son directeur technique Jacques Grange, elle dispose de 30 ha en propre dans les AOC septentrionales, complétés par des achats de raisin, la gamme méridionale provenant de la partie négociant-éleveur.

About the vineyard : Delas, maison qui a fêté son 180e anniversaire en 2015, est dans le giron du champagne Deutz depuis 1977, lui-même dans le groupe Louis Roederer. La priorité a été donnée aux vignobles avec beaucoup de plantation en sélection massale. Delas exploite en propre 30ha dont dix très bien placés en Hermitage : 8 sur les Bessards (dont une cuvée éponyme est isolée) et 2 sur l'Ermite. La maison complète sa gamme avec des achats de moûts ou de raisins. Elle défend un style de syrah ferme, marqué par le cailloux, le granite. Depuis le millésime 2012 et surtout 2013, grâce à une nouvelle cuverie en inox, le fruité et la finesse de tanins des rouges et la précision aromatique des blancs ont progressé nettement. Avec des fermentations malolactiques désormais partielles, les blancs ont gagné en fraîcheur. Delas est aujourd'hui un bel outsider face aux poids lourds E. Guigal, M. Chapoutier et P. Jaboulet Ainé.

Ai deja dégusté plusieurs millésimes de ce vin. Déçu pour la 1ere fois. Peu aromatique, sur l'alcool. Redégusté le lendemain, afin d'affiner mon avis. Malheureusement pas d'amélioration. Vivement le 2017
