New vintage, the 2015 was rated : Bettane & Desseauve 14,5/20, Guide Hachette 1*(Very Well-Made wine)
This Lirac fully develops the floral character of its varieties. It offers a fresh entry on the palate, not heavy, with a good harmony, roundness, marrying flowers and white fruits, with a fresh finish... A real pleasure at all times !

Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France

Wine rated (guide 2017) : 14,5/20 (Millésime 2015) (Bon vin)
Vineyard rated (guide 2017) : 3***Stars (A production of high-quality, that could be used as a reference in its area)

About the vineyard : Le château d'Aquéria a débuté son existence au XVIe siècle.

Renowned since ancient times, the wines from Lirac brought prosperity to the region. Over the centuries, the port of Roquemaure became powerful and prosperous, exporting "Côte du Rhône" wines to Paris, England and the Netherlands. The wines of Lirac were decreed an AOC in 1947. Set out in terraces and hills, the Lirac vineyards nestle on the right bank of the Rhône facing those of ...
