Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : 1*Star (A reliable production, recommendable, in line with expectations from the appellation(s))

About the vineyard : Tariquet has become a worldwide brand, it is the largest family-owned vineyard in France to this day, with about 1000 hectares of vines and 9 millions bottles sold each year. Armin and Rémi Grassa took over the estate, after their dad, the founder of this incredible adventure started in 1982. Ultra-modern equipment and a meticulous hygiene in the cellar guarantee a production of wine with irreproachable technicality ; the new bottling line, installed in 2011, allows to go through 7000 bottles an hour...

Vineyard rated (guide 2020) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)

About the vineyard : À l'origine du Dom.

Recognized in 1963, the Bas-Armagnac AOC area is made up of siliceous clay “sables fauves” and boulbènes, old silty soil. These soils create fruity, fine and complex eaux-de-vie with which enjoy an excellent reputation. Bas-Armagnac is produced from the distillation of dry white wines ...
