About the vineyard : Située sur l'emplacement d'une ancienne villa gallo-romaine, cette propriété est le fief de la famille de Conti. Luc de Conti aime prendre le temps, faire le tour de son vignoble en expliquant chaque recoin, sa vision du cépage qui retranscrit selon lui l'identité du terroir et de la parcelle, et narrer son histoire et celle de son grand-père vénitien, arrivé au château de Bridoire. Les 50 hectares sont effectivement conduits en bio, une petite partie (12 hectares) en biodynamie. Les vins ont de la profondeur.

About the vineyard : Voilà maintenant plus de vingt-cinq ans que Luc de Conti nous régale avec ses vins de Bergerac. Par touches successives, il a pris connaissance de son terroir, a maîtrisé de mieux en mieux la maturité des raisins et les élevages en barriques, toujours à la recherche des meilleurs équilibres. Le vignoble de 55 ha, entièrement converti en agriculture biologique, produit les vins les plus homogènes et réguliers du Bergeracois : des blancs secs d’une belle qualité et des rouges en pleine ascension. Le Château Tour des Gendres est aujourd’hui un porte-drapeau intelligent et avant-gardiste pour toute la région.

About the vineyard : Una storia italiana. En 1986, les frères de Conti joignent leurs terres, associent leurs familles et fondent l'entreprise de Conti. Jean, Luc, leurs épouses et un cousin suivent ainsi les pas de Vincenzo, arrivé là en 1925. Aujourd'hui, ils exploitent 57 ha de vignes, en bio depuis 2005, complétés par une structure de négoce.

The appellations of Bergerac, Bergerac Sec, Côtes-de-Bergerac, and Côtes-de-Bergerac Moelleux were established on September 11th, 1936.
