Award : Gold Medal Gilbert & Gaillard
Like the Classic wine, Premières Grives is the flagship cuvee of Domaine du Tariquet. Thanks to a late-harvested Gros Manseng, this becomes an elegant off-dry white wine, with exotic character and generosity. A good volume on the palate combined with a great freshness makes it a must-have from Gascony !

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : 1*Star (A reliable production, recommendable, in line with expectations from the appellation(s))

About this wine : Fruité croquant sur les agrumes, sucre bien intégré, belle fraîcheur. Fait pour plaire au plus grand nombre. Un classique.

About the vineyard : Tariquet has become a worldwide brand, it is the largest family-owned vineyard in France to this day, with about 1000 hectares of vines and 9 millions bottles sold each year. Armin and Rémi Grassa took over the estate, after their dad, the founder of this incredible adventure started in 1982. Ultra-modern equipment and a meticulous hygiene in the cellar guarantee a production of wine with irreproachable technicality ; the new bottling line, installed in 2011, allows to go through 7000 bottles an hour...

Gilbert & Gaillard : Guide des Meilleurs Vins Français et Internationaux

Wine rated (guide 2017) : Médaille d'Or

About this wine : Robe or clair.

Vineyard rated (guide 2019) : Wines regularly rewarded (The wines of this producer are regularly rewarded by the guide)
