Maison Chandon
Founded in 1959 in Argentina, Domaine Chandon Argentina was established by Robert-Jean De Vogüé and Renaud Poirier, the estate’s first cellar master. Captivated by this unique location, nestled in the desert, and by its wide temperature variations, they found their exceptional terroir. This estate is located in Agrelo, over 1,000 meters above sea level.
Robert-Jean de Vogüé, then President of Moët & Chandon, had the vision, courage, and boldness to redefine the world of wine, convinced that new terroirs would usher in an exciting era for quality sparkling wines.
Chandon Argentina is committed to a sustainable and socially responsible approach.
Chandon Argentina is the first Moët & Chandon estate to have been established outside of France. It has established itself as a brand in its own right, producing unique sparkling wines from unexpected terroirs. Today, it cultivates 500 hectares of vineyards, and its technical facilities are on par with the House’s ambitions.
