Domaine Laurent Martray
Domaine Laurent Martray cultivates 9 hectares of vineyards: 1 hectare in the commune of St-Étienne-la-Varenne and 8 hectares in the commune of Odenas, producing wines under the AOC Brouilly and AOC Côte de Brouilly appellations.
The vineyards of Domaine Laurent Martray are planted on soil composed of granite rock, sand, and silt. The vineyard is, of course, planted exclusively with Gamay. At Domaine Laurent Martray, all work is done by hand, as the terrain allows for very little mechanization. Yields are deliberately limited (through pruning and thinning) to achieve optimal quality, resulting in Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly wines with a rich texture and luscious fruitiness.
