Note: RVF Guide – The Best Affordable Wines: 15.5/20 (Ranked in the Top 5 of the AOC)
This red Bordeaux benefits from all the expertise of the Mestreguilhem family, who also own Château Pipeau in Saint-Émilion. In 2000, new cellars were equipped with modern technology to better enhance the quality of Château Joinin. Passion and meticulous care combine with traditional winemaking methods. The subtlety of this blend contributes to the creation of a lovely red wine of high quality, pleasantly fruity and silky. A pleasure at an affordable price!

About the estate:

A family-owned estate for three generations, with 25 hectares managed since 1989 by Brigitte Mestreguilhem (whose family also owns Château Pipeau, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru). 2014 saw the arrival of Jean Mestreguilhem, Brigitte’s son, an agricultural engineer who cut his teeth at major Bordeaux estates, in California, and in South Africa, and who is now taking charge of the estate’s technical management.
