A lovely white Bordeaux with a fresh, minty character, featuring grapefruit-like fruitiness and exquisite notes of tropical fruit. It has a lovely freshness on the palate, with all the surprising richness of Sauvignon Gris coming through on the finish. A must-have for summer!

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

A perfectionist, Stéphane Donze has set himself the demanding task of producing wines that far exceed the region’s usual standards. After purchasing the estate, he and his wife Lucie spent fifteen years closely studying and observing the layout of their vineyards. This painstaking work—always pushing the limits of risk—has enabled them to achieve perfect ripeness and great precision in their wines.
