About the estate:
This beautifully restored château is a venue that lives up to the reputation of its terroir, regarded in the northern part of the plateau as one of the appellation’s finest. Henri Parent now runs the estate following his mother’s passing. The sweet wine’s sculptural texture, its elegance, and its intense vitality have made Le Gay one of the most sought-after wines among connoisseurs since 2004. As the wines age, one will be able to appreciate all their nuances and their great refinement. The latest vintages hold great promise.

Rated estate (2018 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
As the heir to the Arques crystal works, Catherine Péré-Vergé, who passed away in 2013, spared no effort in elevating this estate. In just a few years, through significant investment, she succeeded in making Château Le Gay one of the appellation’s finest brands. Advice from oenologist Michel Rolland, combined with meticulous care of the vineyards, has transformed the estate, part of which is ideally situated not far from Lafleur. Vinification takes place entirely in oak barrels, resulting in generous, modern wines for lovers of full-bodied Pomerols. The estate is now managed by Henri Parent, the son of Catherine Péré-Vergé.
