This wine is too bland for a Chablis Premier Cru.

Superb! Exactly what a Chablis should be: straightforward, pure, mineral, dry, combining finesse and power, with a superb, characteristic, mouth-watering acidity and a long finish. As is often the case with Chablis, the aging process does nothing to mask the purity of this wine or take center stage, as is sometimes the case with whites from the Côte de Beaune. It may be on this terroir that I prefer Chardonnay the most. Even though there are some truly great Puligny, Meursault, and Corton wines. My only regret: I didn’t buy enough of it.

Excellent as an accompaniment. Definitely not as an aperitif. An incredible nose. Pure Chablis. The downside: as an aperitif, it leaves a slightly tart (acidic) aftertaste on the palate.
