The 2007 vintage received the following ratings: Robert Parker 93/100, Bettane & Desseeauve 18.5/20
"A truly great Burgundy wine, to be savored with reverence. The color has golden highlights. The nose is robust, with subtle notes of roses, fresh almonds, citrus and honey, rare wood, and spices. On the palate, a remarkable sensation of balance and grandeur. A blend of fullness and freshness. The finish is intense and complex, with the aromas blending into a fullness that lingers for a long time. A wine with real presence," comments the Drouhin estate.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
The estate is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe for the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard particularly well-stocked with great white wines, in the Côte-de-Beaune as well as in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.

A beautiful Chardonnay with a much more robust character than the grand cru wines from the villages of Montrachet
