In 1976, Joel Peterson founded Ravenswood Winery. Known as “the godfather of Zinfandel,” he created a style of wine that is full-bodied and rich, yet accessible to a wide range of wine lovers. Ravenswood is now owned by the Constellation Brands group, but Joel Peterson remains the driving force behind the winery.
