Notes: Quote from the Hachette Wine Guide
“This rosé, made from the first pressing and a blend of Sciaccarellu (70%) and Niellucciu, offers an intense aromatic profile dominated by red fruits and amyl notes. It has a full-bodied attack, a light mid-palate, and a crisp finish with hints of wild strawberries: a wine perfectly suited for an aperitif. ” (Le Guide Hachette des vins 2013)

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Rated estate (2012 guide) 2** stars (Successful production)
About the estate:
"In 1991, Bernard Renucci took over the family estate in Féliceto, in Balagne, in the Réginu Valley. The 17 hectares, situated on granitic sandy soils, are planted with the Corsican grape varieties sciacarellu and nielluciu, as well as vermentinu (white), supplemented by Syrah and Grenache. The vines are tilled and cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The wines, available in all three colors, are produced under the Corse Calvi appellation.”

Rated estate (2014 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
“This hardworking and passionate winemaker tends a 17-hectare estate in the Feliceto Valley plain (Balagne), along with a small hillside plot. Established in 1992 and planted through 2005, the vineyard has a relatively young average age. But Bernard Renucci perfectly compensates for this minor temporary setback through careful yield management, a focus on ripeness, and meticulous winemaking. Vignola, the estate’s sole cuvée, beautifully captures in the bottle this delicate balance between these various factors in wines that are generous yet preserve the finesse of this alluvial terroir.”
