Sindicat La Figuera
La Figuera Union, a cooperative founded by six winemakers, traces its roots back to 1932 in the heart of the village of La Figuera, located in the Montsant region. Its 25 hectares of vineyards, planted some fifty years ago and planted exclusively with Garnatxa Fina, thrive at an altitude of over 500 meters, making the most of their elevated location.
Since 2015, Sindicat La Figuera has been the result of the hard work of René Barbier Jr. and his wife Sara Perez (Domaine Venus la Universal), with René Barbier Sr.(Clos Mogador & Espectacle) continuing to contribute his expertise. In every bottle of Sindicat La Figuera, the Barbier family presents a fresh, easy-drinking wine with particularly floral and delightful flavors.
Once again, the Barbier family demonstrates its immense talent in the history of Spanish winemaking, offering a wine that delivers immediate pleasure while remaining true to the terroir of this exceptional Grenache.
