“A sensational offering from Navarre! The Baron de Magana 2007 is a fascinating blend of 35% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Tempranillo, and 10% Syrah, aged for 12 months in mostly new oak barrels. As its blend suggests, it is somewhat like a Bordeaux, with plenty of blackcurrant and cherry mingled with notes of forest, undergrowth, and oak.
