"Ready to drink"

“Even more mature, darker, and more concentrated, [...] the 2016 Original is also more rustic and leans more toward black fruit than red fruit. The tannins are more abundant, with a fine, slightly firm texture, likely extracted during the 15 months of aging in new and two-wine barrels. 5,000 bottles were produced.” (Wine Advocate 2018 – Robert Parker)

James Suckling

Wine rated 89/100

Rated "Recommended"

About the wine:

It has a fairly open nose for a two-year-old wine. It also has smoky notes. It’s quite supple on the palate, but the still-hard tannins come through on the finish.
