"A new blend of Unico vintages: 2011, 2012, and 2013, the Especial cuvée once again expresses the essence of Vega Sicilia in this unique nectar, ready to drink today or to be cellared for up to sixty years!"

" The NV Único Reserva Especial 2025 Release was produced from a blend of wines from 2011, 2012, and 2013, [...] The heart of the blend is 2012, perhaps also the highest percentage in the blend, which provides power and structure, with the freshness and tension of 2013, which also brings some balsamic characteristics, and less of 2011. The nose is very harmonious and subtle, and the wine shows increased complexity and elegance. It has the nose of the Único with more nuances and subtlety, but what I liked most was the silky texture and elegance of the tannins, which, as usual, combine more developed characteristics with elegance and freshness. This is an exceptional new edition of their classic non-vintage blend, which is gradually returning to the style of yesteryear. 2025-2040" (Wine Advocate 2025) - Delivery in wooden cases is available for orders of 3 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

The NV Único Reserva Especial 2025 Release was produced from a blend of wines from 2011, 2012, and 2013, with 14% alcohol, a pH of 3.86, and five grams of acidity. About wine:

Graphite, truffle, tobacco, savory notes, and pure silk tannins. It offers great balance and depth. The aromas are complex, and there is a balance between supple tannins and a clearly tertiary aromatic profile, with dried herbs and lots of cedar. 2024-2045

About wine:

This is the 2025 edition of Vega Sicilia. It is a blend of three vintages: 2011, 2012, and 2013. Blackberries, ashtray, incense, fine spices, dark chocolate, and hints of black pepper and balsamic. Almost something bloody, but the highlight is really the pure, velvety layer of soft, fully melted tannins, which are ultra-polished and refined. The long finish lasts over a minute. Drink now or wait.
