"A blend of the 2011, 2012, and 2013 vintages of Unico, the Especial cuvée—with its incredible aging potential—reveals, as always, the soul of Vega Sicilia!"
“ The NV Único Reserva Especial 2025 Release was produced from a blend of wines from 2011, 2012, and 2013, [...] It features the core of the 2012 vintage—perhaps the largest percentage in the blend—which provides power and structure, combined with the freshness and tension of the 2013 vintage, which also contributes some balsamic notes, and a smaller portion of the 2011 vintage. The nose is very harmonious and subtle, and the wine displays greater complexity and elegance. It has the nose of the Único with more nuance and subtlety, but what I liked most was the silky texture and the elegance of the tannins, which, as usual, combine more developed characteristics with elegance and freshness. This is an exceptional new release of their classic non-vintage blend, which is gradually returning to the style of yesteryear. 2025–2040” (Wine Advocate 2025) – Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 3 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and selected shipping method)

About the wine:
Graphite, truffle, tobacco, rich flavor, and silky tannins. It offers great balance and depth. The aromas are complex, and there is a balance between supple tannins and a distinctly tertiary aromatic profile, featuring dried herbs and plenty of cedar. 2024–2045

About the wine:
This is the 2025 vintage of Vega Sicilia. It is a blend of three vintages: 2011, 2012, and 2013. Blackberries, ash, incense, delicate spices, dark chocolate, and hints of black pepper and balsamic vinegar. There’s almost a hint of bloodiness, but the highlight is truly the pure, velvety texture of soft, fully integrated tannins that are ultra-polished and refined. The long finish lasts over a minute. Drink it now or let it age.
