Bodegas Riojanas was founded in 1890 by the Artacho family and Rafael Carreras. Bodegas Riojanas is divided into three divisions: Veiga Naum, which produces Albariño wines; Bodegas Viore, which explores the terroirs of Rueda; and Bodegas Torreduero in Toro.
Bodegas Riojanas spans 300 hectares of vineyards.
