A true work of art—this exquisite gourmet white wine!

2** stars in the Guide Hachette, Gault Millau 16/20, Bettane & Desseauve 15.5/20, RVF 15/20
With its beautiful golden hue and intense, rich fruit aromas, this wine—generous, complex, and lingering on the palate—once again confirms the unparalleled talent of Michel Louison. A passionate winemaker, he works with each of his grape varieties and his exceptional terroir like a conductor leading an orchestra—without a single false note. Here, Marsanne (70%) and Roussanne (30%) take center stage, offering us a truly well-balanced white wine perfect for fine dining, with a lovely minerality that pairs perfectly with premium fish and scallops!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

This estate was the pride of Faugères in the 1990s, before being taken over by Julien Seydoux, who arrived here with the humility to learn about the terroir and the desire to bring Les Estanilles back to the forefront. The aging process is gradually adapting to the wines’ characteristics and still has room to improve. The reds are powerful and full of flavor; they are wines with a strong personality.

Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

In 2009, the self-taught winemaker Julien Seydoux purchased this 44-hectare estate, which is farmed organically and produces wines that are often outstanding. A sure bet.
