With its off-cycle vintages—resulting from over two years of aging in barrels followed by concrete tanks, before resting for five years in bottles in the estate’s cellars—this wine is a prime example of power. Here, the nose offers great complexity, ranging from jammy red fruits to notes of tomato juice and beautifully alluring leather. On the palate, it’s an explosion of aromas supported by firm, rounded tannins; its velvety texture lingers into a grand, sweeping finish. A great wine.

The musts ferment in temperature-controlled concrete tanks at between 26 and 28°C, allowing the natural yeasts to complete their work and preserve as much of the aroma as possible.
