Made from overripe grapes affected by noble rot, this sweet Layon wine has a sun-kissed color. Its exuberant nose, with aromas of exotic fruits (pineapple, lychee, etc.), heralds a very aromatic palate with a rich attack and a lively finish with sweet notes of caramelized pears. In terms of value for money, this Layon will surprise many!

About the estate:

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined in 2003, 2006, and 2009 respectively, this has been a family business since 1920; originally covering 5 hectares, it now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very comfortable with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
