“A hint of distant wood smoke, a touch of nettle, and lovely tart blackberries create an aromatic nose. The palate is exquisitely fresh with a firm structure. Typical of Cornish Point, the aromatic flavors highlight the wine’s juicy character. The finish lingers with notes of smoke and apple seeds. A mouthwatering wine. This wine spent 13 months in 25% new French oak.” (Decanter 2022). A cuvée of dazzling finesse! Screw cap

About the wine:

The 2021 Cornish Point Pinot Noir stands like a ballerina, poised and tall, though this ballerina has more meat on her bones than one would see in a royal ballet. The mid-palate is rounded, yet it remains light on its feet, moving on tiptoes across the palate. Aromas of aromatic herbs accompany red cherry rather than black cherry, dark chocolate, and coffee grounds. The finish is fresh and finely textured.

About the wine:

A very lively Pinot Noir with a delicate tannic structure and a velvety texture. Medium-bodied and very dense, with lovely notes of berries and strawberries, it has an extremely long finish. Subtle complexity with hints of salted caramel. Ready to drink now or for aging.
