Review and opinion by Mr. DIDIER P. Published on 04/05/2018

The Sercial grape variety is very full-bodied and astringent. With a 1995 vintage, time has mellowed it and made it splendid. Caramelized nose with vanilla and a delicate hint of coffee. On the palate, prunes and spices dominate, along with raisins, walnuts, and almonds, without overwhelming the mouth, as there remains a hint of astringency that aerates the whole. An inimitable impression and taste, slightly harsh at the start, which melts into a beautiful, lingering finish.
