The 2011 vintage received the following ratings: Gerbelle & Maurange 14.5/20, Guide Hachette 2** (Remarkable Wine)
L'instant en blanc continues to shine with its liveliness and freshness, which are particularly enjoyable during the warmer months. Made from organically grown grapes, like all of the estate’s wines, it expresses aromas of grapefruit, pear, and pineapple. A hallmark of the estate, its finesse deserves to be highlighted. To be savored with relish!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the estate:
This family-run estate, spanning two appellations—Cassis and Côtes de Provence—is now led by the very friendly and dynamic couple Sophie and Didier Simonini-Cerciello. Across their 32 hectares of vineyards, including 7 hectares in Cassis known as Clos Val Bruyère, they practice exemplary viticulture and have been certified biodynamic since 2018. As a result, the vines and soil thrive, and the surrounding area is teeming with exceptional biodiversity—even by organic standards. The wines are crisp and well-defined, with, in the Cassis appellation, that salty touch that so perfectly characterizes this terroir. The Blanc Kalahari cuvée, whose name was inspired by the couple’s love for Botswana, is worth the trip: it is one of the estate’s most interesting—and original—wines.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
Émile Bodin founded Clos Val Bruyère in 1889. A century later, Sophie, his great-granddaughter, and her parents took over the few hectares of vineyards they had inherited and breathed new life into this estate. That same year, they acquired Château Barbanau, 23 hectares of vineyards located at the westernmost edge of the Côtes-de-Provence appellation, at an elevation of 360 meters. Today, Sophie and her husband Didier run this estate and have been producing biodynamic wines certified by Biodyvin since the 2018 vintage.

Review by Mr. STEPHANE F. Posted on January 19, 2015
Light in color, with an expressive nose featuring floral and tart notes (lemon), the palate offers good freshness with a bit of body, featuring minty notes that finish with a peppery edge; it’s very pleasant. Having tasted it earlier when it was warmer, that version felt too flat on the palate and had a more intense peppery note, though it still lacked tension. The finish lingers on notes of linden blossom; I’ll see how the rosé turns out, while the white, for its part, was very pleasant today

Disappointed by the lack of intensity in its aromas.
