Award: 2012 Saint-Tropez Gold Medal
The Prestige white cuvée is made from the Rolle grape variety, also known as Vermentino. This prized variety is grown with low yields, and the grapes—harvested when slightly overripe—give the wine an incomparable aromatic intensity. On the palate, it offers a lovely roundness and excellent balance. A Mediterranean white with intense fruitiness...

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the estate:
Jacqueline Bichot, a pharmacist who switched careers to become a winemaker, fell in love with this vineyard, ideally situated with the Sainte-Victoire mountain as a backdrop. It sits at an elevation of 400 meters, in an area where the cool climate is reflected in the wines. The Sainte-Victoire terroir produces pure, elegant wines here that are perfectly in tune with their origins. Having earned organic and biodynamic certification in 2017, she has demonstrated the seriousness of her approach and continues to nurture her 47 hectares of vines on the clay-limestone soil typical of the appellation.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
The estate takes its name from the Chapel of Saint-Ser, dedicated to a 5th-century hermit who, ignoring the threats of the Visigothic ruler Enric, was beheaded. Cultivated using biodynamic methods, its vineyard (46 ha) stretches across a prime terroir of limestone gravel on the southern slope of Sainte-Victoire Mountain, where the grapes enjoy maximum sunlight.

A wine lacking in concentration. Decanting allowed the aroma to dissipate. Light on the palate and lacking in character. In short, a very closed-off everyday wine that is therefore disappointing with food.
