The 2006 vintage received the following ratings: Gault Millau 17/20, RVF 14/20
Le Coin Caché is one of the estate’s oldest plots. Isolated at the foot of the hill and nestled in the garrigue, it produces a high-quality Grenache, harvested just before it becomes overripe. Both rich and elegant, refined and powerful, Le Coin Caché has a style all its own and a highly original expression of strawberry soup, cherries in brandy, and prunes. A limited production of just 5,000 bottles. A great wine from Provence!

Rated estate (2023 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)

About the estate:

Nestled in a magnificent landscape on the southern slopes of the Alpilles, this 300-hectare family estate—comprising 52 hectares of vineyards and 28 hectares of olive groves—boasts well-drained soils that are ideal for viticulture. Now run by two sisters, Caroline Missoffe and Anne Poniatowski—the former being the current and highly dynamic president of the appellation—the estate’s wines stand out as one of the finest expressions of Les Baux-de-Provence. Rich and full-bodied, they combine depth and lightness with great elegance.
