About the estate:
Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate—founded in 1994 through the merger of three small vineyards—has consistently delivered high-quality wines. Taking over from their parents, Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure—now the sole owners of the estate—have built a new wine cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vineyards to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.

It’s often said that a wine’s quality doesn’t depend on its price. This 2020 vintage proves that statement true. Right from the first sip, the palate is coated with delicious, refreshing red berries that wrap around round, silky tannins, with Carignan proudly taking center stage. It offers exquisite, restrained power and a comfortable finish with a hint of spice that teases the taste buds. It’s also well-presented and easy to enjoy. Smooth and very pleasant to drink, this wine was paired at 16° with satay-marinated beef sprinkled with chopped cilantro.

This wine is an absolute delight—fresh, fruity, with aromas of raspberries, and very easy to drink. It’s best enjoyed with beef bourguignon and served chilled.
