Domaine La Florane

La Florane is a family-owned estate located in Visan, in the Enclave des Papes (Vaucluse), in a south-facing valley at an elevation of 250 to 400 meters. A true “clos” (enclosed vineyard), the vines are surrounded by lush Provençal nature: truffle oaks, olive trees, and broom. After 20 years of winemaking at the cooperative winery, 2001 marked a turning point for La Florane, driven by Adrien and Françoise Fabre, who decided to produce wines under their own label. 

A new winery was built on three levels, partly underground, to ensure that the grapes, the wine, and the environment are treated with the utmost respect. 

La Florane’s vineyards span 24 hectares in Visan, including 14.5 hectares in Saint-Maurice, known as the Domaine de l’Échevin. The vineyards are certified organic and Demeter for their biodynamic practices.
