Domaine Julien Masquin
Paul Masquin, the grandfather, purchased vineyards in Courthézon in 1936 out of a passion for winemaking. However, as he was deeply involved in establishing a brush-making company, he entrusted them to other winegrowers under a sharecropping arrangement.
Dreaming of making his own wines, his grandson Julien Masquin took over the estate in 1998. He devoted all his efforts to a return to sustainable farming methods that respect the terroir.
2009 saw the release of the first vintages from Domaine Julien Masquin in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône.
