Domaine Julien Masquin
Paul Masquin, the grandfather, purchased vineyards in Courthézon out of passion in 1936. However, as he was very busy establishing a brush-making company, he entrusted them to other winegrowers under a sharecropping arrangement.
Dreaming of producing his own wines, his grandson Julien Masquin took over the estate in 1998. He devoted all his efforts to a return to sustainable viticultural practices that respect the terroir.
In 2009, Domaine Julien Masquin released its first vintages of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône.
